At CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield (CareFirst), transformation isn’t a moment—it’s an ongoing commitment to the people and communities we serve. As a not-for-profit health company, every decision we make and every dollar we reinvest reflects a simple guiding belief: Care should meet people where they are, respond to what they need and open doors to a healthier future.

In 2025, we continued to act on that belief with purpose. Across Washington, D.C., Maryland and Northern Virginia, we expanded programs, strengthened partnerships and invested in solutions that make care more accessible, more connected and more human.

This year’s Impact Report showcases how our mission shows up in real ways—through measurable impact, community-driven innovation and stories of resilience and collaboration.
