CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield Community Health Plan District of Columbia (CareFirst CHPDC) is no longer a participating health plan in the District of Columbia Medicaid managed care program as of April 1, 2023.

If you are provider that needs to a file a claim, the time to submit original claims ends 03/31/2024. It is important to note, that the widespread system outages resulting from the Change Healthcare cyber-incident has created a change to our claims submission process.
